need help with mixed formats

I am editing a project in Avid MC3 that was recorded with an hvx on p2 but on one of the days they recorded 24pn and the other s they did 24p. so I have 23.94p footage and 59.94i. the director wants 24p final. I have raylight but when I try using it to convert files from 59.94i to 23.94 it does not work. it says remove pulldown ignored due to necessary conditions not being met. What am I doing wrong.

Hey Geoffrey,

If it's 24p with normal pulldown then you need Raylight MXFX to remove the pulldown to make it 24p. Raylight Ultra/Mac only remove advanced pulldown.

MXFX is worth the cost of admission. I bought it to save a similar situation now I have it for any other footage mix ups.
 
I also found that some footage is sd 59.94i, some is 59.94p and some is 23.94. can I convert all of this to the same? right now I'm doing the 720p 59.94 to match 720pn 23.94 but I don't know what to do with the sd 59.94i stuff.
 
Anyone? I have dv filmmaker and raylight mxfx but to convert the dv 50 stuff recorded in 59.94i what can I do? dvfilmmaker does not work with p2.
 
Should I edit the dv 50 stuff together and then export, upconvert - remove pulldown and import it into the hd 24 timeline?
