Need help with Japanese version GH-1 Hack

Hello!

I've been reading this forum for a month. I am expecting my first GH-1 in about a week from Hong Kong. It's red and it has a 9E serial number so May 09. But it is a Japanese language version. I'm guessing it will have 1.2 on it?

I don't want to screw things up. Can someone walk me through the hack? I mean must i first update the firmware so I get English? Then add the latest hack?

Can I go one step to the current version?

I just want to understand this process and have everything ready when it comes in next week!!!!!!!!

Michael,
You can follow the method described for P-tool and do everything in one swoop. As p-tool is in English you just need to specify the language you want and the parts of the hack you want implemented for your cam and update the firmware. Check for the comprehensive info on using p-tool and you'll be golden :)
