Need help with a grid in FCP

I've been a FCP user for a few years now and I've always wondered if there is any kind of template or anything like that to help space multiple media tracks out evenly. i.e. if I had 2+ video tracks playing in the same frame, (think 24 style) how can I space them out evenly?

If not in FCP, maybe motion? Do I need to create templates in PS?

Any help is appreciated.

There may be some third party plugins for FCP that can help, but I'm not aware of any templates for this.

I usually use AE for this type of stuff, especially if it needs to be animated as well. It just offers more options and precision for control. Same for Motion.

There are some free plug-in packs that have line and grid generators for FCP. You can use them to align elements.

Check Luca's plug-ins as well as Too Much Too Soon.
