How do I attach my DVX to the suction cup hood mount I just rented? It's a big ten inch suction cup with a thick plate on top that tilts. The plate is a half inch thick. Can somebody tell me how to attach this. Muchoapprecianado.
 
If it's the same as my Manfrotto one, there should be a button on the bottom to push which helps suck it down. Make sure the surface of both are clean, and use safety wire just in case it comes loose. You will also want to check it often, heat/moisture and other factors can cause it to come loose. BTW, where did you rent ir from?
