GH13 Need Help Setting Up My New Intervalometer for GH-1

Hey everyone,

I just received an intervalomter for the holidays, and I''m having trouble figuring out how to use it.

The product is the TC-252, which I had read works with both the GH-1 and the GH-2. So far I havent been able to get it to function.

The product came with a converter cable, basically its a wire that connects from the meter to the GH-1's line in(mic). Is that even correct?

I'm very lost as to how to even get it to work, and if it is even compatible.

If anyone is experienced with using the product on the GH-1, or even the GH-2, I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance everyone.

I have a similar model that works with my Gh1 and Gh2, but it's been so long since I've used it, I can't remember how it works. Yes, it does plug into the jack on the camera. Here's a video that may help:

Hmmm, still having trouble. Looks like the video was just a how to on setting up the different modes.

Still cant get the remote and camera to communicate.

Any ideas?

Helpful read, but still no communication between the remote and camera.

I have noticed that if the cable is plugged in one way it recognizes it as a microphone, and if flipped around, it doesnt say a thing.

But alas, no response from the camera.

Then you possibly have a wrong or faulty cable.
