Need help - Sequence setting ?

I am recording on a 100B / 24pa / letterbox --- i have no issues with the import and was just curious as to the time line settings

what are the best sequence setting for editing 24pa i notice my aspect ratio is NTSC DV 3:2 - is this correct or is there a better setting i could use


when should the anamorphic box be checked....I shoot squeezed or letter box on all shoots

Squeeze = anamorphic

Letterbox = 4:3 (or DV 3:2... 720:480 = 3:2), because letterbox displays the wide screen image between two black bars.

You are shooting DV NTSC, so go with that. But you do need to remove the pulldown upon capture in order to edit at 23.976. And, of course, your sequence setting should have the same time base as your footage.
