Need Help PLS - AUTO Button on the dvx100a

After configuring all the settings through the menu buttons for an indoor shoot
I wanted to put back the camera into all auto/mode.. because I had to run out and shoot another scene and did not have time to adjust ..
So I pressd the automatic button on the camera in hope that the camera settings will be set to the automatic.
However, I did not see th "A" on the viwer and I don;t know if my camera reverted back to AUTO mode? I have all my viewing options on

Do I need to do anything else?
Maybe with teh preset keys?
Any feed back will be helpful

Could someone send me a PM or respond here on teh board . I would really appreciate it

Hi:

Have you tried this again to see if you actually depressed the Auto button. Sometimes I have pressed the user pre-sets but pushed at a latteral angle in a rush and the button did not engage as I did not push down more instead.

Also if you have a DVX 100 the auto focus does not work in progressive. With the 100b or 100a the auto focus works but lags in progressive mode. This is problematic with fast action or subject matter that rapidly changes diistance from or towards the camera. I don't know if you were in progressive mode just thought I would remind you as this.

If you were in progressive the "A" should still have been visible.
