Need Help Please

Ok Im getting ready to download video from the DVX to m macbook pro '15.
I knwo the order to hook up and what not to do, BUT I have one question .

To me it looks like the 4 pin cable doesn't even fit into the camera?
Does it not go into the hole all the way? the hole is aweful small and the connector isn't in the whole way.

I know I'm just getting up so maybe I'm missing something.
Please help.

well the 4 pin is small...and u should push it in all the way in the camera. Duno what else to tell u after that.
