Hello:
This may sound like an old topic here, but I am having problems converting some MXF Files. These particular files seem to have lost their timestamps and Final Cut Pro HD doesn't open them. They do, however, open up in Windows Media Player.
I am wondering if anyone can open or work with these files, and I have uploaded a couple samples. The goal is to get these into FCP without loss of quality.
www.musicalrecordings.com/00236Q.MXF (about 15MB)
www.musicalrecordings.com/0042U6.MXF (about 7MB)
Thanks for any direction. I do not currently have access to Avid, but I hear that may be the place to try. If someone could check if this works, it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if anyone can help point me in the right direction, I'll give you a credit in this very cool short film we have shot and are in the process of editing.
Thanks, AMP
