I need your help guys. I can't get power out of the 12v 4a dc out, any menu options I have to change? Power is feed via battery mounted on if box.

No malfunction there - those ports only work when you provide power via the 8 pin Lemo port (which it presumes is mains power, although you can wire a battery to that port).

If you're on battery power, using a DTAP plate may be a better answer.

I know Anton Bauer stuff is good, but you need to be very careful about overloading 12v batteries. This is one of the reasons I switched to the Hawk-Woods 26v "Reel Power" system. There are two main benefits - a 24v battery only has to deliver half the current of a 12v one, and I get power through to both 12 and 24v accessory ports. Very handy for things like my WLCS

Hi James,

im looking for a brick battery to power the F65, and was considering one of those 190whr Anton Bauers. I know they are 14v. I was under the impression that a 24v battery would only power accessories.

From your experiences, what may be some downfalls of going 14/190? Also, what wattage are your 24v batteries and how long do you get from them at 24p with rotary shutter on?

My Hawk-Woods batteries are 100Wh, they last about 45 mins to an hour with accesories. I am going to have them upgraded soon to a newer spec. I also use 24v blocks too.

The Hawk-Woods system only powers the camera because the mounting plate has a 15v converter in it too. It works great because I get 12 and 24v power from an onboard, or a block. I have some 24v accessories so it helps a lot.

Ah, I see. You probably mentioned that already, so sorry if my question was redundant.

In any case, thanks for the info! I'm gonna look into that hawk woods system.
