Need help getting the camera mic on my laptop

Hey guys. I am doing a live stream in a few weeks so I have connected my ex1 to my laptop (windows vista) via 4-pin firewire. I am able to see the video, however I cannot get audio to come through. The only available input audio is the build in laptop mic which I can't use. Any ideas?
 
I plugged the camera into my co-workers mac book pro and it shows up as “DV Audio” and works fine. Only problem is that mac laptop will be in Alaska the same time the shoot is going on…crap!

I tried installing quick time on my pc, but still no success..boooooo
