Need help focusing HVX with Extreme Fisheye

Fairly new to using the camera and very new to the fisheye. Does anybody have suggestions for focusing the camera while using the Extreme fisheye? I've tried using it all the way zoomed out but everthing seems rather blurry. How far should I zoom in/ what else should I adjust to get the best results. Will be primarily used to film action sports. Thanks

Does it come into focus anywhere along the zoom travel?
That thing is so wide you might want to to wear a helmet since you're going to be inches from the action if you're filling the frame.

Treat it like a variable prime lens.
Frame the shot - use the focus magnification - focus - record
for action sports - tilt down to the ground & focus at the anticipated target location
