Believe me, i hate asking for this, because i don't have a lot of detail, but it's a video i saw on Vimeo, and i exhausted myself searching there...so here goes:
it's a windsurfing (maybe wakeboarding?) video, very stylish, set to a heavy TOOL song, and there's a part where the drums pick up, and a special effect is used where the surfer "explodes" into a puff of smoke in rapid succession to match what the drums are doing.
i saw the video about 6 or 8 months ago, and like a moron, i didn't "like" it, but i want to see it again so study that cool effect.
if anyone can identify that video, i will be grateful...and i'm sorry i don't have any more details, but that effect was so bada$$.
