Need Help. Baffled

OK I'm fairly new to Final Cut Express 4, that Apple offers.
My problem is this I have my project saved and on the time Line.
The video on the timeline is in the pop up window, showing your edited video,
as in the timeline. My questions are this.

First how do I download the timeline video to DVD (burn) The video, the final version is not in the clips sections, so Where can I locate it?

Can you not burn the project from Final Cut Express 4 timeline?
Do I have to save it a certain way, or to a certain area before I can download it?

I'm clueless as to what to do.
When I worked on Avid a few years ago, the final clips,projects always showed up in the clips area where your individual clips were, but I don't see it in there on final cut.

I'm editing on an apple lap top computer.

If someone on here could walk me through that would be awesome. thanks.

Well you would export a timeline as a quicktime movie and then burn in iDVD or DVDSP. I'd spend a bit more time with the manual...

Thanks for the help I'll try it. I don't have a Final Cut express Manuel. The final cut express 4 that I got with Apple Computer did not come with one.

I don't see anywhere in the Apple Tutorials that shows how to do this either. I've been Looking.

Did you purchase FCE? If so, check for the manual on the discs you received when you purchased the program.

The manual should be there in pdf format.
 
I can't get For some reason it to load to the IDVD to burn.
I export the timeline as Quicktime.

But Not burning to IDVD for some reason.
So somewhere I've missed something in between.

Um sorry but you need to actually respond if you own this software or just downloaded it. We cannot help you if you pirate software. Forgive my suspicion of this but seriously. If you are authorized user you can call Apple to receive a manual. If you're not we cannot help you...
