need DP for short films

Hello,

I am looking for a DP who has some experience and plans to get more experienced. I am a director/writer who lives in Los Angeles and is palning to shoot short films to send to festivals. I am employed full time in non-filmmaking industry, so shoots will be done mostly on weekends and evenings. I have budget only for meal.

Please respond if you want to concentrate on DP, not on directing and DP.

You say you have a full time job. Why not save up some money and then use that to hire a DP? Even back in school I'd save up money to pay salaries to those involved in my productions, as I find it somewhat shamefull to ask experienced workers to work for free.
But that's just me
 
Let say I decided to pay salaries to crew members and after shooting we did not like some shots and decided to shoot again. So, according to you I need to pay again. Since, I am not a production company, obviously I cannot afford this option.

This offer is ideally for someone like me who has some experience and wants to get more in the area of feature films. Also, for those who let say is a DP employed by small production companies that produces, for example, music videos. This person works there, but actually wants to DP feature style films and is available couple days a week.

Also, I expect from DP collaboration in creating this film, not only in lighting and camerawork, but also in location and etc. This is not like DP appears in the morning, gets instruction from director, shoots film, gets compensation and leaves.
