Hey guys,
I'm working on a film called Canyon Road (www.facebook.com/canyonroadmovie). It's a low-budget film, but we're shooting on a soundstage in LA. The shoot is from March 31st (this Thurs) to April 13th. That's 2 weeks.
I'm not sure exactly what positions are still open, but I do know that we're looking for dedicated crew members. Pay is mostly on a deferral basis, but I'm not the one to talk to about that.
I do know that aside from some key personnel - I believe we still need a gaffer, a 1st AD, maybe two camera operators (for the 5D, D1 and T2i), etc. - we need "warm bodies on set," as my boss Calix says in reference mostly to PAs.
So if you're in LA for the next 2 weeks, if you're dedicated and hard-working, and you think you'd be available from about 10am to 8pm for most days, drop me an email. Like I said, I don't know what positions are still open, but it can't hurt to see.
