Hello all my name is Nik Manning I am a Certified Final cut Pro Editor and I am going to shoot my first Short Movie. I am looking for a crew of talent professionals with over 10 years experience. HAHA naw I am just playing if you are available and competent come on down. This will be a no pay shoot but I will feed you very well.
The final will be made into a SD DVD with HD versions of the movie on it and maybe some behind the scenes stuff. I am really excited about the script I have from a fellow dvxuser chapelgrovefilms. It is a horror/thriller that takes place all at night.
DETAILS:
*UPDATE*
-I am willing to change the shoot to 3 days with longer set times to accomadate any DP that is interested. Thanks-
Date will be late march or early april. Date will be exact once I find a dp that gives me there available dates. Time will be 7:30pm til 1:30pm for 5 days. There will be no nudity, but some brief underwear stuff. More than likely there will be one location.
CREW:
D.P.- someone who has a HD camera and knows how to use it. (HVX200,A1,hd100u,etc)
P.A. (2)- some people that are trying to just hang around help without tripping over cables.
Lighting Guy/Gal - Someone who has lights and knows how to make them stay on.
Sound Guy/Gal - someone that can hear better than me with some sound equipment.
On set Photographer - Someone who will basically take pictures of the production as it progresses.
Runner - someone who knows there way to and from fast food restaurants and hardware stores in los angeles. This position might already be filled but who cares contact me anyway.
Actors/Actresses - Oh yeah, I will need 2 attractive female early/mid 20's white or close females and 1 hansom/rough early/mid 20's or 30's white or close male.
So far that is what I believe I need for the shoot but whatever service you can offer feel free to contact me. Post here or PM me.
I am going to really plan this out to make it the best it can be. What we lack in money, we will make up for in creativity. Thanks DVXUSER What!
