We need a CG animator willing to do what I think will be a fairly simple job for our unique suspense/drama feature 'Tangled Web', in exchange for credit/copy and deferred pay.
'Tangled Web' is unique because the entire story is seen from the POV of webcams attached to the computers of the main characters.
To make this work, we need 3 simulated Windows desktops. For obvious licensing reasons, we can't use actual Windows desktops -- we need desktops created and animated that don't use any kind of image that Microsoft (or anyone else) holds a copyright for.
We thought we could design our own skins for the desktop, then use screen capture software to get the images we need. But we ran into resolution problems with this -- onscreen text was virtually unreadable.
So we need custom work done. Ideally, we'd like at least one of the desktops animated -- so we can see the mouse pointer moving around, opening folders, and opening video chat windows. Otherwise, the main image we're looking for is desktops which have a video chat 'window' opened on them. We will composite our edited footage into these video chat 'windows'.
This is probably quite simple for someone with the skills and software to do the job. We have neither.
So if you're interested, either PM me or email me at davidr@chapelgrovefilms.com.
Thanks!
