Need cash--DVX100A package for sale

I need to unload one of my DVX100As (the newest one). I'd love to unload it before Christmas, and will do all in my power to get it to you before Christmas, if you desire. We can work out the payment vehicle.

I am asking $3100 for the package.

  • DVX100A --(immaculate, four hours on heads, purchased at EVS about two months ago, all original accessories included);
  • UV filter --(put on when I bought it, never taken off);
  • Pelican 1600 case --(plus most of the "pluckings" I removed);
  • AT897 shotgun mic --with all accessories;
  • Shure Beta58 handheld Mic --paint on handle worn from putting in and out of stand holders, perfect functional condition;
  • Off-brand handheld mic --new (roughly comparable to SM58s);
  • DVXUser battery --new;
  • Two XLR cables --about 30' each;
  • Four MQ tapes --unopened;
  • DVCinema LCD hood;
  • DVX book and magic bullet.

Camera is brand new (dratted timing :angry: I haven't even received the extra battery and tapes, yet). I have been anal retentive about its care/storage, and no one else has even touched it but me. I've only played with it in studio, and a one hour event shoot (indoors). Everything functions perfectly, guaranteed.

(BTW, I also have a Pany AG-EZ1 in excellent condition if you're interested.)

Well, It's posted on ebay, but for $100 more than here. (This, I think, does not violate the posting policy, as I'd rather my baby go to a loving home here at DVXuser.)

If you want it, let me know--but go through this forum, NOT EBAY.
 
lpc, I have 4 people who wants used DVX's, and already offered warlock to forward his number to them. PM your phone number, and I will network you with them.
 
Rush, Where do you find the HOURS meter? I know that I haven't ran two tapes through the machine. But, How do I prove it?

that is on the DVX-100A of course.

Go into your menu, scroll down to "Other Functions" and scroll down to the very last setting. You won't be able to select it, just view (pity, really :evil: ).
 
Still available, but for now I want to keep it bundled. If someone wants the camera without it (for a reasonable price), I'll let you know.

Larry, what of said bundle are you interested in? I have several that want the peripherals. If I could find someone who wants the DVX . . .
 
O.K., by popular demand, I think I will make a few alternate "bundles."


I'm thinking about the following options:
1. Original package, per above.

2. Camera alone (with original accessories only--but all of them, including all original packaging) for $2700ish.

3. Camera with Pelican 1600 for $2800.

3. If you want other miscelany from the package, we can dicker.

4. Depending on what sells with the camera, I would then sell the mics, etc. as a package or individually.


(Also, I do have a second camera that has somewhere near 80 hours on the heads. I might consider selling it instead if you want a less expensive option. I'd take $250 off from the above.)
 
I know your not interested in selling just the battery but if for any reason you can/want to sell the battery seperate I will buy it immediatly. Also, what condition is the mic. in and how much would you part with it for?
 
By mic, I assume you mean the AT897. It is in new condition. I have all the packaging and accessories--the cosmetics and function are perfect.

The Beta works great, but a little worn. The other (I think it's an AT, but I'll have to check), is never used except in studio on a short I did.

I'm not looking for a killing, but do want a fair price. I'll let you know what I would want for them in a few hours or so.

Doh. Larry, sorry about the stupid question above. I had no sense that you were the same Larry R with an SUV-on-the-beach-for-an-avatar as the previous post.
