Need another camera to complement the HVX

Got some cash to spend from selling off my SD cameras, and I need to get more HD ones... I've been thinking of either getting an XHA1 or one of the Sony XDCAM EX1...

What do you all think?

A scarlet would be sweet for sure...

I think the HPX is out of my price range for this, as the $6500-$7000 for a EX1 was pretty close to my limit...

Basically, I had an HVX, XL2, DVX, HV20 and a GL2. I sold the DVX and GL2 and I'm selling the XL2. I'm trying to basically have only HD-capable cameras now. I was using the GL2 with a fisheye, so I'll need to get one for the new camera. I've also got an M2 for the HVX.

I thought having the EX1 since it does 1080p would be a great camera to have. It even seems like a step up from the HVX. If the cameras can be closely matched, and then tweaked in post, that's not a huge deal for me.

However, if I were to get the XHA1, I'd save a lot of money, so I could get the fisheye, and probably another HV20 (I use them to stick on cars, or bring to places I don't want to bring the expensive stuff).

Any thoughts?

The A1 is probably your best bet now for something nice, professional, and affordable. If you can get by with an HV20 for awhile, then I would suggest that. My reasoning is that you can wait until more is known about the HMC-150. The A1 should be able to be matched pretty close to your HVX, but the HMC is a Panasonic, so logically it should be similar if not a lot closer to the HVX's image characteristics. The HV20 is cheap enough to just keep around for a third camera then (plus is good for location scouting, vacations, crash cam, etc.).

Cool thanks for the info :) I've got an HV20 now which is great, but I need something more professional, with more features..
