Need an update on DTE for HVX200 please

[tdsurf]

What is the latest and best solution for DTE with HVX200 these days? I never really liked the Firestore FS100 and now I see they are discontinued. There is a CF version and that looks good but no DVCPROHD?

Appreciate any suggestions and feedback on what's working for you.

thanks,
td

the fs100 is the only device that's 100% compatible.

fs100 is the best and cheapest solution for hvx -- you can pick up one used for $400-500. I have a fs100 and have never had a problem. Here's one that I noticed on nyc cl: http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/pho/2193475338.html

Check out this system from Maxell. I use the iVDR adapter and the drives for P2 dump. Nice hardware. The VC102 adds direct firewire recording.

Nexto builds solid state stuff also.
