Need advice on how to handle this feature when it comes to price.

he's a first time director so this film WILL suck donkeys ass even if the script is brilliant so unless you are getting at least a minimum wage it's not worth it.
 
PRIMER didn't suck. First time director. And I mean FIRST TIME, Shane Caruth never even made a short film.

Just because the dude got lucky and/or has immense natural talent doesn't nullify the rule that "your first film's gonna suck". It's probably the exception that proves the rule. In fact, I'd go farther and say that it's not until your third film that you'd make anything even remotely watchable...
 
i agree with the others...bottom line. dont take it


I really came to say though that you reel is pretty good. you def deserve to be paid more. Rental ALONE as Patryk mentioned should have you sitting nicely.
