Hi all! I'm actually using a 70D with manual lenses for video but I'm thinking if it would be a good idea to change it for a used 5D MK2. I'm interested in the full-frame sensor, and I don't really care about the auto-focus of the 70D as I use manual focus lenses. I would like to know if there are any cons, if the image quality of the MK2 video is not as good as the 70D... what do you think?
The MK2 records at a bitrate of 38mbps (by default), but with Magic Lantern I guess I can push it up. The 70D will do 91mbps by default.
70D has Digic 5 and MK2 has Digic 4.
MK2 has much more I/O speed so I will be able to reccord RAW with Magic Lantern in a higher resolutions than with 70D + ML.
What may I be missing??
