Need Advice/Instruction ASAP Please!

Hey...I need some advice-

I shot an interview but my framing was off( the subject was back too far) and it looks odd. I am hoping that there is a way for me to zoom in, save the "zoomed in"clip and edit the adjusted footage. Is there a way to save the "zoomed in" version of the clip on the timeline so I can edit with it? I am using FCE4. I have a rapidly approaching deadline and I need to resolve this issue...

Absolutely.... Just open the clip in the timeline, go up to "motion" in the "Viewer" window and adjust the scale... you can also re-center. You will lose some resolution, but that is relative to the degree to which you change the scale...

Then just export that portion, or edit it in the timeline...

It will be in that same "viewer" window. Click the "+" then go over to the "canvas" window and click/drag the scene where you want it (you will see a red "+" now in the canvas window)... or you can enter numbers in the fields next to the "+" in the viewer window (great for fine tuning).
