Hello all. I have a shoot coming up and I need help. Before I used to shoot all stable footage with a Letus extreme. and moving footage on a stabilizer without it. I know want to shoot the entire movie on a Letus extreme. My question is do u know any stabilizers out there that can handle the entire rig. I tried it on a cheap stabilizer i rented out but the weight was not supported. Please let me know what stabilizer can support it also I’m not cheap but limited in funding but I’m looking for a low cost solution if possible but also shoot out regular priced editions . I’m desperate to do this. Thank you in advance for all ur help.

Not sure. Its just the camera itself with a letus and a 55mm lense the brackets that hold it are feather weight. im guessing 15 pounds or less.

You can always hire a new steadicam owner/operator. They tend to be pretty cheap since they are still learning.

I second that. For that kind of weight you're talking a full on rig with a vest and arm which is pretty major $$, and you'll still need to spend several months to practice and get familiar with it at the very least. If you need it NOW then it's much much cheaper to hire an operator for the day.

Yes i knoe I looked into it but i want to buy one that supports it do u have any models in mind? I want it for the long run as well. Thank u again for all help please let me know thanks.
