I'll keep this short and sweet. My producer had a huge family crisis and had to go back east for the next 3 months. This has put me in a bit of a jam in terms of my project I wrote and am directing. Having to deal with every little aspect is growing harder and harder as we come closer to the shoot date (17th).
I am directing a teaser pilot that I wrote for a web series. This is not your standard webshow and it's going to show the world what Internet content can be. To prove that, I am funding this pilot myself then going around town to shop it.
A lot of the work is done but I want a producer on board. I have been a bit apprehensive to find one online (Former producer was a close friend) as the director/producer relationship is such an important one. But perhaps the perfect person (you?!) will come along. In my mind the right person is someone who has been assisting a producer at a major prodco for two years or so and are on the fast track to becoming a producer. You know the right people, work hard and know how to make things move. I am not expecting some big named person to help here. Just someone with the right knowledge and attitude.
I don't want to post plot details online so shoot me an email and we'll talk.
Note that the pilot will be shot in one 12 hour day (the 17th) and the position will be unpaid until we get picked up. There are a million little producer things that I need you to do before we start.
