Normally I'm not one to beg, but tonight my fiancee dropped a huge one on me. Since we moved to Jersey in August, I've been out of work. Not for lack of trying. Every place between Philly and NYC has my resume by now. Maybe my resume sucks, I don't know. But if I don't get a job, something stable, in the next few weeks, I'm out a fiancee and a place to live, as we won't be able to pay rent, despite the fact that she has a full-time job.
I have a Bachelor's in TV and Film, have worked on live shows as a technical director, cameraman, sound engineer, graphics, and VTR. I've shot films and broadcast packages for TV and for the web. There's literally nothing I can't do, as far as this industry goes. I've done it all, for free.
But I need something now, that pays. I know this is a bit rash, but I am running out of options.
