Need a good LCD hood...what are you all using?

Hey guys,

I need to find a nice LCD hood for outdoor shooting. I have this one and hate it:

I was thinking of this one and wondered what you all thought:

What about this one...I know its for a DVX100, but was wondering if it would work?

The one I have came with a bag I bought and I hate it cause its too small and feels like I am gonna break the LCD when I put it on.

What do you guys recommend for a good one? I also hate the ones that have the piece of creased folded plastic that attaches on top...like the one I have.

I really don't have any problems with the HOOD-100

I don't use the extra plastic top hood unless I'm at the beach.
 
I'm not sure if this helps, but a user here reported (and showed pictures of) the DVX-100 lens hood fitting onto the HMC-150. That would suggest to me that buying a DVX100 hood would be compatible.
 
Thanks guys...I am leaning towards the Hoodman H400.

To you guys using this hood, how is the fit? Snug? Loose? Just right? I just ask cause the other one I had seemed awfully tight and I would almost prefer it a little loose...at least to the extent I didn't feel like I was gonna break the LCD when using it.

The other one I had also seemed too small (it may have been for all I know) in that it was not wide enough and actually encroached on/covered the outer most edges of the LCD viewable area. I was hoping that since the H400 says for 3.5 to 4.0 inches that it would be wide enough. What have you guys found?

I have the same one you have and I don't have any problems with it. I know what you mean about breaking it off, but if you hold the camera on your lap with the lcd facing towards you.... then really stretch the elastic on the hood cover it fits just fine.
