I posted this yesterday and got no responses. Can someone with a DVX100, NOT a DVX100a, do a simple test for me? Can your camera show the time in either standard OR military (24:00) time? I just purchased the 100a and it seems it can only show military time, and I could have sworn that when I tested the 100 in the store it did both. I can't imagine that they would have deleted one of the options when introducing the 100a. So can someone please pick up their 100 and just check whether it can do both, or if I'm remembering it incorrectly.

You might have somehow tested the dvc 80 which indeed does display either 12hr or 24hr time.

It's a sacrifice, but if it turns out that the DVX100 does what you want, and the DVX100A doesn't, I'd be willing to swap. To help you out, you know.
