Need a decent B-Cam

Hi Guys,

I'm going to be covering an event in the next of month with my HMC150 and need a second SDHC cam to cover a mic that will be setup for Q&A and a very occasional pan of the crowd. This camera will be on a second tripod next to me with a 7in lcd and a lanc zoom/focus controller on it to make life easy.

The footage will be webcast live at 1MB and also recorded for DVD distro later so the more it matches up with the HMC depending on my scene file setup the less I have to do in post.

I'm looking at the $1000 and under market used or new. The camera needs to record to AVCHD.

So far the cams that I've seen that may work are:
Canon VIXIA HF S200, VIXIA HF S20, VIXIA HF S21 mainly because of the LANC capability,
I would love to use one of the little Panny 3Mos cameras but none of them support lanc control to my knowledge.


Any suggestions would be appreciated.

BTW The shoot will take place in a school gym so lighting should be plenty.

Never mind, I've settled on the TM700, I figured out a way to setup my framing so I don't need it to zoom :-D 1080 60P here I come :-D

Please let us know how this works out - and if possible an example or two of how these intercut. I always seem to need just another couple of (static) B-Roll cameras in some of the larger locations I shoot at.
