This is a truly professional 7" HD Monitor. At 600 NIT's it's considerably brighter than the Panasonic 8" , Marshall or Small HD. Which makes it ideal for outdoor work. It has an HDI SDI and Component loop through. This is crucial if you're working with a client. With the loop through, just send another cable to the client monitor. For HDSLR use it will require an HDMI - SDI box. I recommend black magic. It's what I use and have had no troubles. It also has false color, peaking, and multiformat guidelines. It's currently set up to take Panasonic HVX batteries. However, Nebtek (or yourself if you're reasonably handy) can install a plate for Sony, V lock or Canon batts. It also has a 12 volt pin input as well as a 12volt xlr input, which makes it easilty adaptable to custom power rigs and D Taps.
I used mine with an Anton Bauer Battery belt as ballast to balance out my rig
The housing is metal as they all should be. It weighs just under two pounds.
Also, if you're not aware already, Nebtek has perhaps the best customer service around rivaled only by Zacuto. Something goes wrong, you call and speak to a human. They also turn things around quickly. I wish they made more than just monitors.
I'm selling because I'm pretty much out of the HDSLR game. When I was doing a fair amount of HDSLR work, this monitor was what got me through. And with the loop through, clients stayed where they should - out of the way and out of eyelines.
Newr 2064.00
Will sell for 1200.00.
It's in perfect working order. There's just a superficial scratch about 1/4" long on the bottom right of the LCD. When on it does not effect the image at all.
For 250.00 more I'll throw in (3) 5400 Panasonic HVX batteries (great condition), a charger, a hoodman hood and a two month old Schneider Optics Rhino Glass cover. New, these items would run 635.00.
