Neat video for Premiere or After Effects?

I have CS6 and do all of my editing and most of my grading/correction in Premiere. I want to purchase Neat Video but can't decide to get the version for after effects or premiere. I noticed most tutorials I see online people have it for after effects. I do use after effects for some visual effects and plan on getting into it more. Does anybody have recommendations for workflow with these programs and neat video? Which one would you get? Thanks

There was a thread here recently on Dark Energy and Neat Image.

Do a search, but the concensus seemed to be Premiere. I have never used it, so YMMV ...

I'm sure others will chime in.

Get it for PPro. Why? Performance in exporting. If you work on anything longer than a couple of minutes, NeatVideo in AE will make exports take forever.

Don't take my word for it, ask NeatVideo tech support.

[Edit: thunderstorm over] The reason I say to avoid the AE solution is that, according to Adobe, when a PPro project is exported with AE components, PPro runs on most of your processor cores, while AE runs on just one as a "service". What this means in reality is that if AE has to touch each frame, your multi-core computer is limited to the speed of a single core. IOW, you won't get any advantage in trying to process multiple frames simultaneously, since AE becomes the bottleneck. No matter what you do, AE will force the system to process your frames serially.

If you run NeatVideo from PPro, it runs on all cores. I tried it both ways (with the trails) and emailed back and forth with tech support over what the performance issues where. I'm very happy I went with the PPro solution. Much faster. Just sayin'. [/edit]
