That's what I thought. The top of the Ad says F3+SR1, then the bottom says both for 8,800. Poor wording.

B&H is selling the 1TB Sony memory card for this recorder (SRR1), cost is $5700.00 each! I'm trying to understand this pricing, going back to the P2 days when 64GB P2 cards cost over $2,000.00 and now can be purchased for around $600 to $700. The average buyer of the SRR 1 memory cards would have to do allot of work and rentals with this unit to make his initial investment back before the priced dropped or before the aftermarket versions started showing up. Now if you're using the unit to shoot movie or TV productions I can see that pricing but it does not add up to offer this deck at a competitive price compared the other 4K recorders now out on the market and charge $5700.00 for the media.
 
Funnier in a FS700 thread, a few are convinced somehow that they are going to get a FS700 with 4k upgrade and 4k recorder (and not even thought about the media for it) ALL for far under $20k.

Not from Sony.

The FS700 is a marketing gimmick for those who aren't sure if they need 4k or not. If you need 4k then you already know it, and would be shooting with a camera that offers it.
