ND filter nomenclature?

So for external filters there is ND .3, .6 & .9 and in-camera Panasonic gives us ND 1/8 and 1/64.

Someone please tell me if I am right or wrong:
ND .3 is 1 stop
ND .6 is 2 stops
ND .9 is 3 stops
(I think I read this somewhere)

ND 1/8 is 3 stops
ND 1/64 is 6 stops
(Just going on the principle that 1 stop is half the light)
