ND filter advice for A7S2 and slog and cine4

I want to get a ND filter for an a7s2 to use when shooting slog and cine4. I was thinking of looking into a LEE filter holder and square filters that could be used with this camera and other cameras like the 5dm3. Not sure if that would even work between the cameras? Are these not good for the a7s2? Are variable ND filters better?

Thanks for any advice.
