ND Filter Addon? (not a question about built in filter!)

Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked before. I checked the topics and didn't see anything...

HMC40 is my first true camera. I really love it. Learning more each day. Now i'm starting to feel that an external ND Filter might be nice, as i'm shooting outdoors more often lately.

I know nothing about it, however. Can you purchase any ND filter for the HMC40? If so, any recommendations on a good one? Also, is it somewhat easy to install?

When selecting an ND Filter, remember, each 0.3 = 1 F Stop.

0.3 = 1 F Stop.
0.6 = 2 F Stops.
0.9 = 3 F Stops.
1.2 = 4 F Stops.
1.5 = 5 F Stops.
1.8 = 6 F Stops.
