An editor at the small production company where I bump stuff up told me that the NBA now shoots all its games in HD and all its behind the scenes stuff and interviews in 24P w/ the DVX100. These guys shoot for them a lot in my area, and had to buy a DVX to keep their gig. Gotta keep an eye out for some footage, though I'd be happier if it were baseball.
