NBA Playoffs- 16 Teams Start, One Finishes- Who You Got????

Yeah the series is crazy...I thik that Westbrook needs to be more of a faciliator early on and then start shooting when they get a lead haha.

Yes, I'm working the "studio show" in the arena for NBA TV.

My self portrait...

What a Game 3! Close for much of it, the Heat falls behind by 10, keeps driving in the paint, then win!!!

Looks like Westbrook was frustrated, made some poor choices...

Oh yeah?! Looks like YOU made some poor choices!

...that's all I could come up with.

Last night was definitely the most intense game of the series, I think. While I'm not a James or Wade fan, I do like Battier. He doesn't seem to have that irritating "Look at me! Look at ME!" attitude that James and Wade have. Some other people have talked bad about Bosh as well, but I have no issue with him either. If the Heat take this, I'd MUCH rather see those two delivering the shots.

Yeah, Westbrook made some poor choices (i.e. missed some shots that immediately make you think he should have passed the ball instead), but he is a big reason why the Thunder have got this far.
Yeah, the Thunder went for more than 4 minutes without hitting a bucket.
Yeah, the Thunder were stinking it up at the free throw line.
Yeah, LeBron was the generous recipient of of two critical calls/non-calls at the end of both games 2 and 3.

Even with all the above, the Thunder were in it until the waning seconds. If any Heat fans weren't nervous, they were only kidding themselves.

Game 3:
Oh yeah?! Looks like YOU made some poor choices!

...that's all I could come up with.
Ha ha, not bad! You're learning trash talk, Hawk. Keep it up! And I like Battier, too!

If any Heat fans weren't nervous, they were only kidding themselves.
Oh we were! I know I was!

Game 4:
Rushed home after shooting Dolphins camp and Ochocinco (we won't get into his "Brokeback Mountain" quote here...) for ESPN...
Down by 17 in the first quarter? Darn right I was nervous!
But the Heat came back, and held it- LeBron's legs cramping at the end and all.

And Westbrook, after a phenomenal 43 point game, makes a poor choice (no, I'm not picking on him, Terry) to foul Chalmers with :05 on the shot clock and send him to the line for 2 free throws?!

Believe it or not, I like the Thunder, rooted for them in the playoffs, would cheer them on if they weren't playing the Heat.
I don't even have a problem with Durant shooting a 3 over Wade in Game 3, then, taking his mouthpiece out, saying "too short".
I would just follow it up, after 2 rebounds for Durant (2???) in Game 4, by saying "too small".
OK, that's the full extent of my talking smack, because I know Durant can dish it out and take it... he's a great player. As is LeBron.
The two best, in The Finals. As it should be.

But yea, I'm looking forward to Game 5... (nervously...)

I'd say both teams are giving great effort. The Heat have shown toughness, passion, and ability in this series. Most impressive.

Most generous, Terry.

And I'd say the two best teams are in the Finals, and that's not always the case.

Total. Domination. I didn't expect it to this degree, honestly, but the Heat's defense, grit and guts truly shone tonight. :violent5:

The only team to win the Finals after trailing in all series? Ever?
Six players in double figures?
Lebron with another triple double?
26 pts, 11 rebounds, 13 assists?
Seven three pointers by the gimpy Mike Miller?

LeBron finally has his ring, and perhaps a bit of vindication, after 2 years of vilification.
He can finally smile and celebrate.

Kudos to the Thunder, Durant, Scott Brooks and all you OKC fans out there.

The season, the sixteenth playoff game and The Finals are over.
Time to play the song.

Congrats, groveChuck!
Thanks Terry... and sorry to deprive you of 2 days work!

You guys have a great team- hope to see you back here next year!

And now, hopefully the world's most over-scrutinized athlete can let it all soak in... seeing him bouncing up and down with a 10k watt smile- priceless...

Last night was a nasty game. I didn't like the Thunder allowing their emotions to get the best of them. Refs will ref how they deem necessary (whether good or bad), but it doesn't mean taking it into your own hands for vindication. I was disappointed in that aspect.

Congrats grove, and anyone else who was a Heat fan.

Sigh... we're still picking on the Heat, eh? What about Mark Cuban and the Mavs???

Besides, $200K on South Beach is just a warm up!
