In LA, if you came here from 2008-now, and you want to be a camera department person, ala, AC, DP, etc.... working on an Asylum film is like a rite of passage. It's the new , but even worse.

At one point and time, every 20-25 yearold fresh-faced camera assistant will find his way onto one of these productions. If he's lucky, one will be the most.

Roger Corman studios- We were just talking about this last week Ryan, the amount of great names in all areas from behind to in front of the camera that at some point went through Corman studios. Just curious does Asylum have a Roger Corman like figure at the helm?

I've worked on three different Asylum films. I was the A-camera 1st AC for Almighty Thor. lol

Fun times. Low pay.

Pretty cool that you got to work with Kevin Nash.

No. I think they are different from Corman in many ways, but the business models are similar, despite Asylum being even more low budget.

Kevin Nash was cool. I still can't believe how big he is.
