Native 24P Interlace Artifact on AE CS5... Why?

This got me curious... Only in AE CS5 I get this weird colour artifact on my footage.

From analyzing the picture, I can see these spikes are only in the RED channel.

Why does this occur on my footage within AE CS5? What is AE doing to my footage?

What to do to solve this?!

Graham, thank you for the input, sorry for not responding earlier.

I googled briefly and it seems there's no fix for that...

I guess I'll be getting Neoscene anyway then.

Yeah I noticed this with Adobe CS5 too... I was just in general not happy with Premiere CS5.... editing in vegas and thinking strongly of buying Edius 6.
