Sure it's been asked before but this must be important for filmmakers out there...
I am using two GH13 for upcoming indie short and was wondering if
a) true widescreen (1920x816 or 800) could be archieved with ptool Sensor Mode 4 adjustments as i don't want the camera to waste bandwith on image that i'll crop later anyways AND is it possible to get the LCD liveview preview in cinemascope? What's the "cut" mode do? any danger to fool around there?
or b) increase the avc resolution to 2512x1080 in ptool sensor mode 4?? or would this just be upscaled or limited by the cameras cpu...
even c) or is it possible to record internal electronically stretch the image in the 1920x1080 dimension much like anamorphic dvds are stored?
