I was just up watching the NASA tv station online. www.nasa.gov

the Public Channel.... they did some interviews and some tours of the middeck etc... and then they had a handheld camera for their use there. I was trying to see what it was. But then the lady on the team ( Heidi i think ) calls it a PD100... but later on I could see the flip over LCD like on my FX1. I watched more closely and when one guy went to shake hands with another ,he let it go so it was floating in midair. It was totally an FX1 or Z1. lol

Just thought I'd post that... at 3:34am lol

Only Us camera nerds would ACTAULLY be looking out for what camera was used as opposed to the atcual situation, THEY WERE IN SPACE :) how many people get the chance to do that !!

But hey I'd do the same..

Yeah, I dig anything about space or theories or the universe in general. So i was watching taht stuff but when i saw the cam, it was like second nature to me to go, ' hmm I wonder what they are using ' haha

Oh good. I was wondering if it was only me that notices the camera more than the animals on Animal Planet. Yeah, nice tiger, but move aside, i wanna see the camera down your nose!

Z1, I believe. Though the DV tape they recovered from the wreckage after Columbia broke up was shot on a PD100... probably why so much of it survived, the PD100 case is very tough.
