SHORT: NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: DREAMERS FIGHT - PART ONE (Naruto Fan Film)

Hey everyone, this isn't something done by me, but by director Chris Cowan and his team, the Thousand Pounds Action Company. You may know them through their previous short film "Street Fighter: Beginnings End" and the popular live action viral videos based on the Street Fighter IV Ultra Combos. They have recently released the first part of their second short film, this one based in the universe of the popular Japanese anime, "Naruto Shippuden". Chris and the team are some great friends of mine, and I'm happy to share their most recent work and spread the word. You can view part one here:

SYNOPSIS:

The story takes place after the Pain saga, with Naruto becoming the acknowledged village hero he's always sought out to be. Seeing Naruto become steps closer to his dream, Rock lee decides he too, must continue to grow and push his training even harder. Feeling unfulfilled in his regiment, Lee decides to challenge Naruto to a no holds barred duel in hopes to reignite his passion to become the best ninja he can be. Naruto accepts the challenge from his close friend and with this the fight is set!

Will Naruto's constant growth and Nine Tailed Fox spirit overwhelm the hardworking, hand-to-hand fighter? Or will Lee again, push his body to the limits to become the more powerful opponent?

Thousand Pounds Fight Team brings you Naruto Shippuden: Dreamer's Fight.

Didn't you forget to mention the soundteam ? Or did you recorded the ADR, foley and did the sound design ?

I had to skip to the fight but I'm glad I didn't check out before doing that. Great stuff. Lots of energy in the fighters and camera, nice effects that didn't get in the way of the choreography. Dope.

Hey dre, Chris Cowan did all the editing/sound design. All the sfx are from existing sound libraries and properties that Chris has access to personally. As for ADR, not sure if they recorded live or did full ADR. Don't think they had a set sound guy, I believe everyone pitched in to help depending on the day. Also, the credits are accurate from the film itself. Thanks!
