NanoFlash or AJA Ki Pro?

What's the best codec, bitrate, offer, etc?

Hi Gordon-
It's a difficult comparison and likely under valid by doing side by side comparisons. But, since I work for Convergent Design, manufacturer of the nanoFlash, I can offer the following.

The nanoFlash offers both XDCAM 422 and I-Frame only 4:2:2 CODECs. The I-Frame only CODEC supports bitrates of 140, 160 and 220 Mbps. We find the 220 Mbps virtually indistinguishable from uncompressed.

The key advantage of the nanoFlash is size, weight and power. The nanoFlash fits in the palm of your hand, weights in at under 1 lb and consumes about 5.5W of power. It can easily be mounted on any camcorder using a simple hot shoe adapter.

Lots more info on our website.
