nano flash CD vs Ki Pro AJA

Which is better for ex3 sdi out? in terms of image quality
I,m Final Cut user, so I work with Apple Prores codec.

The AJA captures with Prores codec ( I think this is an advantage)

The nano flash capture sin quicktime, but with wich codec?

Nano Flash uses MPEG-2.

ProRes files are 10 bit. NanoFlash MPEG-2 (longGOP or iFrame) are 8-bit. If you will be doing extensive color grading, 10 bit will hold up better than 8 bit. NanoFlash is far more portable. NanoFlash is $1K less than KiPro. Both are wonderful products that do very different things. Quality is excellent from both. The real question is what you require.
