I like the milky washed out blacks - They look 'TV' to me. But, somebody will probably suggest you crush them.... 
I felt like I was waiting for some kind of change to the footage, or for it to be intercut with something other than the screen images (Maybe close ups of the observer or their eyes taking it all in or something?) but it's actually a nice way of depicting the relentless onslaught of TV.
The best moment for me was the final drop. The footage seemed a lot more lurid and colourful at that point (was this intentional?), although, then it resolved back into a familiar pattern.
I like the track, too. I used to be really into Techstep and the darker stuff back in '95 - '98.

I'm not sure that a lot of people here will 'get it' as the forum seems to be more about geeking out than art, but I'm always a big fan of the lofi look. In fact, I get a perverse pleasure out of making thousands of dollars of equipment and software look like a couple of dollars worth.
