I like it. However, it feels like it should be shorter. Some of the shots I was looking at wondering why they're there. Some of the shots are really great (the time lapse dolly shots, for example), it just feels sometimes that you tried to cram too much into it. It definitely has a tourism video feel to it. Maybe if it had some narration the superfluous shots would work better. Talking about Greece, maybe? Otherwise, I think it's good.
yeah i agree. is it probably some of the exterior building shots that felt out of place? I felt that way, but there was so much we had to cram in there and only 20% of the material got in there anyway.
Yeah the timelapse dolly shots are great, but thats from a photographers POV. they have, it seems, built in artistic merit. on vimeo/youtube there are videos of cities all done in timelapse with the tilt shift and "little people" walking around. i just think these effects get overused. i dont know what your take is on those. it seems i prefer a more straightforward approach. with only splashes of timelapse.
