Are there any plans in the works to create a mini-fest for those members attending NAB in Las Vegas this year? I know we are all busy when we are out there...but it might be kind of fun. Maybe a 24 or 48 hour VegasFest. Any thoughts??

We've occasionally had a DVXUser party/gathering during NAB. Don't know if one's planned for this year, but I'll kick the question upstairs...

If the price from here to Vegas wasn't 1k for the trip alone, I would most certainly join you...(where are those low cost carriers flying from here to Vegas? :) )

I threw parties for hundreds of users of "different edit systems" for 5 years. Planning an event for a few hundred people was a job I had to start before Christmas, but it was always the best part of NAB for me.

It's great to know the faces of those we chat with daily. I hope something happens! If not I might have to start up Ted's Party Planning again! :)

i'll be workin the ikan booth - ill likely be the only shaved head, just shy of 6' white guy in the IKAN booth with an HVX, zacuto, brevis, ikan rig on tripod. come by, see me and say "DVXUSER-HERE" and we'll say BIG hello!

Barry, the way I throw a party, I gotta start planning in December.

The last 4 years we had 3rd party support companies show their wares. It was actually a mini-NAB for specific users like us here.
It was such a hit that the last 2 years NewTek has taken the burdon off my back and started holding thier own event. What a great way to further unite a great community like this one.
