What's an F3? Never heard of it! I'll be shocked if there is an F3 anywhere in Sony's booth because I'm pretty sure there wasn't even one last year.

I still like the F3 alot. If you add a Zacuto EVF and a Atomos Blade on the backend of a used F3 you'eve got a hell of a camera -- a much better value than an F5 (in my opinion). Not a better camera, but a better value for your money.

A little chatter about the camera but I think it is the new e-mount lens options that will make FS700 owners take notice.

Today I was watching some of my F3 footage which I hadn't seen in a long while and was "impressed" with what I saw. It's really really hard to beat that image from the F3. I mean newer cameras will offer more in terms of features or benefits but when you break it down to a super 35mm image in HD resolution with decent enough dynamic range the F3 really is damn good.
I agree with Doug and others that and F5 is not a "great" deal over the F3 - but if in the market for a new camera today I can't see buying a new F3. Remember the F5 will give you both 10-bit 422 as well as 10-bit RGB 444 internally.. which is insane for the price in my opinion.

Are you reading my mind? I just had that exact same experience last week with some old F3 interviews I had to pull up again. I was reminded how great the F3 looked -- and they were shot in 35Mbps 420 with no grading hassles.
