NAB BAsh for JVC Users

I know there's another place for this posting but as it's rather a JVC-specific deal, I thought I'd post it here.

Time is getting short for NAB just around the corner. Unfortunately, we have a 1st and 2nd Unit on location half way across the nation the week before and post starting on 2 shows beginning Monday the 17th. We'll be sneaking out for Vegas with the Motorcoach Friday morning arriving in Sin City on Friday afternoon on the 21st. We've made alot of friends here in the past couple of months, a few of which will be with me on the 2nd Unit crew in Tunica so I thought it would be great if we all could get together in Vegas for a private bash...nothing big just all the drinks and food you could eat.

Jared will be throwing the Big Bash and I know we all want to be there but I thought this would be a Little Bash for the JVC crew here on DVXuser.com. If you'd like to join us, please PM me letting me know if you'd like to get together so I can make a list . As soon as we know what days Jared's party is, I'll let you know what night I'm thinking of. In the mean time, PM me if you're interested. Good people deserve a good time and I thought I'd host one for all the good people on the JVC board.

The nights of the DVXuser party are Monday and Tuesday during NAB.

Thanks J for hooking something up.. although of course, all JVC users are welcome to come to the DVXuser official bash.
 
You have to know I'll be there and with yours being on Monday and Tuesday, hopefully with an "early evening 'til.." time frame, I'll probably throw a pre-DVXuser.com mini-bash for the JVC crew and then we'll travel over to the real party en masse.

We haven't had a chance to meet yet and for the first time in a long time, I'm really looking forward to meeting someone. What you're doing on this board serves a purpose well beyond words and in point is why I'm here contributing as much time as I can. It's why George Dibbie is joining me for "2nd Unit" and why I'm pouring personal a ton of money into the 2nd Unit production that I hope Rush talked to you about running here on DVXuser.com. George and I are committed to the next generation of filmmaker and many of them are in the rank and file of your board. You're doing a great job and I look forward to finally meeting you in Vegas.
 
Anybody here planning on attending the Post|Production HD100 session at NAB?

I'll be presenting on that particular one.

what is this event that you speak of. if i'm reading it correctly, is it for production and post production using the hd100. also does it cost extra for that.
